ESD Carpet Tile: Styles & Specs
Our ESD Carpet Tile, designed to withstand heavy abuse, outperforms most other conductive esd flooring. With its tightly woven, high denier construction, heavy equipment rolls easily across the carpeted floor.
Less expensive than most hard-surface floors, our static control modular tiles are easy to install, maintain and replace. Our ESD carpet tile offers permanent static protection at an affordable price.
Ideal for areas where people are unlikely to wear protective wrist or heel straps, ESD Carpet Tile offers unfettered mobility in data storage and mission critical command centers or flight towers.
Proven Durability
Staticworx™ ESD carpet tile works where you need it the most: Right under your rolling chairs.
In the real world, some ESD carpet can loose its electrical properties when subjected to wear from the repeated movement of casters on an office chair. The Roller Caster Electrical Test (CET) is designed to simulate this action. This test will tell you whether a carpet will retain its electrical properties after it has been exposed to a year or two of chairs rolling over the floor. Rolling casters can destroy or mash the carbon fibers in some conductive carpeting resulting in failed electrical performance and can turn a once conductive product into an insulator.
Discovery and Conductors ESD Series carpet have been tested for resistance to chair caster abuse. After 100,000 chair caster cycles there was no depreciable change in conductivity or electrical performance.
ESD Carpet Styles and Types
Staticworx™ Carpet Tiles Discovery and Conductors Series: ESD carpet tiles designed for use in mission critical environments or anywhere sensitive electronics are used. Areas including networked offices, 911 call centers, engineering areas, research and development, FAA, Flight Control towers, and military command centers.
The Conductors- ESD Series ESD carpet tiles designed for use in SMT and electronics manufacturing areas. The Conductors line was designed with the assistance of manufacturing engineers from major printed circuit board manufacturing facilities. The engineering forum group sought alternatives to hard surfaces like vinyl tile that can require buffing, burnishing, waxes and wet cleaning. A tough, durable carpet that offers our regular outstanding ESD protection at a highly affordable price.
Posi- Tile MC Carpet Tile Engineered to permit fast and easy under floor access without the hassle of peeling up several carpet tiles, for total flexibility with workstations. PosiTile MC offers maximum flexibility in the office environment, without the use of adhesives. Designed specifically for use with Tate Concore access panels in mission critical applications, out Posi-tile MC Carpet Tile features ultrasonically welded buttons on the underside of the tile, providing precise indexed alignment with the four matching indentations found only on Tate Concore access floor panels.
