STATIC CONTROL FLOORING COMPANY’S STEADY GROWTH
NECESSITATES MOVE TO LARGER QUARTERS

Staticworx™ moves from Newton Center to larger offices in Watertown, MA

Watertown, MA, August 1, 2007—Staticworx™, Inc., a manufacturer of static control flooring, has moved its corporate office from Newton Center to larger quarters in Watertown, Massachusetts. The new space will accommodate the company’s expanded customer service, sales and marketing teams. Staticworx™ currently inventories its ESD flooring products at its facility in Atlanta, GA. To help defray freight costs for its clients, Staticworx™ is also in the process of establishing a warehouse on the West Coast.

This new location will provide Staticworx™ with nearly three times the space at their previous offices at 825 Beacon Street. According to Dave Long, the company president, Staticworx™ has hired several key employees and plans to add several more in FY 07, an increase necessitated by the company’s steady growth. “The new office gives us a more generous working environment, with areas for client and architectural meetings. We also now have lab space for R&D,” Long said.

Staticworx™ began operations in September 2006, when StaticSmart Flooring divided by market segments focusing on 911 and government operations and Staticworx™, Inc. on manufacturing and commercial applications.

“We’re thrilled with our growth and are particularly excited about the addition of several new product lines,” said Audrey Lampert, Staticworx™ VP of New Business Development. “We recently introduced a new line of rubber tiles to compliment our cost-effective vinyl, carpet and epoxy products. And we have a number of additional products in the development stages.”

In addition to its manufacturing operation, Staticworx™ has negotiated strategic supply agreements with manufacturers and raw materials suppliers around the world to produce best-of-class ESD flooring products at highly competitive price points. These long-term agreements eliminate performance and aesthetic problems such as dye lot variation, color matching, specification consistency and compliance with new ESD standards. The company’s full line of static control flooring includes ESD carpet, ESD epoxy and ESD rubber as well as the most competitively priced ESD vinyl tile on the market today.
